About the event
We will gather at The Riverbend House, which is nestled in the northern Marana desert, just west of the Tortoliata Mountains. About 45 minutes North of Downtown Tucson. Surrounded by native trees and wildlife, the space welcomes each guest to settle into the slow and natural rhythm of the Sonoran Desert.
Throughout the day, we will move between intentional practices, creativity, nourishment, rest and connection - with plenty of space to just be.
We will welcome you to the space with a gentle movement practice led by Kim (think of a mash up between gentle vinyasa and restorative yoga - appropriate for all levels) under the grape vines on the outdoor porch.
A slow and easy transition (with drinks and light snacks provided) into a brief overview and education into one of the most sacred plants in the Sonoran Desert - Creosote. We will identify the plant and learn how…
